James Duesing, an animation professor in CMU's College of Fine Arts, is featured in a book recently published by Indiana University Press called Hyperanimation: Digital Images and Virtual Worlds. Duesing's has been making films since at least 1980's Impetigo, and obviously his work does not reflect Disney-style animation. James strives for a more experimental approach, and apparently that is what his students learn judging upon this student film from his class. All in all, it's great to be mentioned in a book about what you do! Congrats James!
