From a distance Michael Ninehouser's works look like children's illustrations with simplistic compositions, mostly flat colors, and simply designed characters. But once you see the content you will notice the pieces have a deeper meaning, and they have a humorous take on various subjects. 
Michael currently has a show at 707 Penn Gallery until May 23rd. I highly recommend going to see the works in person before they're gone. Link
