The 2009 festival features free activities and entertainment for young and old. This year, 12 musical groups perform on the Main Stage at Liberty and Cedarville, along with strolling musicians throughout the weekend. Awarded First Place in Statewide Townie Awards!The festival attracts over 20,000 people from all over the region. In 2004, Little Italy Days was recognized as the “Best Special Event” by Mainstreets Pittsburgh and in 2008 received first place in the statewide “Townie Awards” for best Special Event.
