Pittsburgh is American Style Magazine's #3 in the Top 25 Arts Destinations!

American Style Magazine grouped American cities into three categories - Big, Mid-Size, and Small. They then put 25 cities in each category and users voted. Pittsburgh came in #3 in the midsize category - although I do have to admit, it seems a little phishy since Buffalo, NY came in first for Mid-Size. Buffalo, really? From ASM:
You may think that sports rule in a city still ringing from its sixth Super Bowl win, but a recent survey by a local statistical tracking group proved that the arts are king in Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh Today’s report showed that more people attend art events than sporting events in the city each year. “I find Pittsburgh accessible, surprising, frequently changing variety of art to be a huge perk to life in the city,” says reader Marc Rettig.

CITY STEAL: Admission to the famous Andy Warhol Museum is half-price Friday evenings from 5-10 p.m. Join in a beer tasting the second Friday of each month, or a wine tasting on the last Friday.

COMING SOON: Each year, around 500,000 people flock to the annual Three Rivers Arts Festival, one of the longest multidisciplinary art festivals in the country. Join them this year, June 5-14, at various locations throughout downtown Pittsburgh.
I still can't get over it - Buffalo? What are your thoughts?
