I ran across Blake Murphy's blog A Confluence of Ink and just loved flipping through all the sketchbook drawings! His sense of humor is great, and the designs have such a cool, quirkiness to them that you can't help but to dig it. I think you'll dig, too.Blake says:
i draw lots of little birds and beasts that express my inner thoughts and feelings better than my mouth ever could. which is pretty convenient, because i'm so soft-spoken nobody ever hears me anyway.
