2009's Three Rivers Arts Festival has begun as of today! There are some RAD happenings throughout the next week with some great musical guests, art presentations, films, etc! I've listed some of my favorites:
• June 5th - 8pm - The Black Keys
• June 5th - 6-10pm - Opening Reception for Above Land
• June 6th - 6:30 - The Wood Bros opening for Medeski, Martin and Wood • June 12 - 8pm - Robert Randolph and the Family Band
• June 14 - 6pm - The Wailers (Bob Marley's former band!)
• Multiple Dates/Times (June 5, 6 and 13)- Film - Pittsburgh Reframed (250)• Multiple Dates/Times (June 6 and 11) - Short Films - Caught Looking (CMU and Pittsburgh Filmmakers)
• Multiple Dates/Times (June 6, 11, 13 and 14)- Short Films - Neighborhood Narratives
• Multiple Dates/Times (June 5, 6 and 7)- Artists in Action: Calligraphy!
• Multiple Dates/Times (June 12, 13, and 14) - Artists in Action: Ceramics, Puppets and Animation
